Welcome to my home on de Web. This page was born in 1996 (gee, that was...let's see...two ISPs ago). Of course, like a simple creature fascinated by bright and shiny objects, I loaded my first page with a garish green background and waaaay too many fancy line dividers -- each different, of course. In short, I didn't know what the heck I was doing. Oh well, we are all Web neophytes when first we get the urge to toss our personalities onto a homepage. Now that I've been a full-time freelance web designer since 2002, I should know better. (Btw, this site is overdue for a major overhaul...when I have a spare moment.)

Of course, the principal purpose (yes, there actually is one) is to promote my writing projects. You saw that one coming, didn't you? Meanwhile, I've stuffed my somewhat crowded site with all manner of nifty writers' information and resources. This way, you won't have found yourself meandering through a page devoted solely to shameless self-promotion (which, of course, this page still is). And the fact that I haven't actually sold any of my own writing hasn't stopped me from creating a bibliography page (I am, if nothing else, a very impatient person).

So, click around, help yourself to some virtual latté and biscotti -- and do come back (the hyperlink is always open).

A brief rant about morons who use wireless phones whilst driving. If that's you -- shame, shame! As someone who's nearly been clocked by cell-phone wielding drivers, I will not apologize if I've insulted anyone. It's the very least I can do. For now.

And you thought this site offered nothing more than a collection of odd bits of drivel. Feh! I've culled these links from many sources (duh, okay...I'm a link packrat). I've got URLS for useful resources, publishers and organizations. Oh, and please read the odd bits of drivel too.

Bogus, of course. I really believe that most Web "awards" are given because the award-giver wants you
to add a banner to your page linking to his/her site. Some are genuine, I'm sure. I mean, it's okay to believe they're for real. After all, it's your ego.

Yes, I've had to resort to an Updates page. Not that I get a lot of traffic. Not that there are hordes of people out there browsing my site every day in the hopes that I've added something to it. Just read my pathetic Guestbook. Yep, I've got my thumb out on the Info Superhighway and nobody's pullin' over.Latest Update: 2/13/01. Like you care.

I only borrow graphics when I'm allowed to do so (even though I now create most of my own graphics). I always provide a link to the artist and/or graphics-broker when they request it. I'm a nice person. I really am.
