"If a little dreaming is dangerous, the cure for it is not to dream less, but to dream more...to dream all the time."

Dancing Bunny Nattering & Gromishing Dancing Bunny

______________________________

I've decided to include a selection of random, silly thoughts taken from my old journals. This new section is called Nattering & Gromishing * -- it includes writing snippets from me (duh!), as well as interesting quotes from people far wittier than I (no stretch, that). I borrowed the Javascript code from Vera Nazarian's Web page (what the heck, she'd also borrowed the code from another site**). Anyway, be sure to visit Vera's site -- she's a very talented (published!) science fiction/fantasy short story writer. I enjoy reading her daily journals (far deeper thoughts than mine...). She also has a great newgroup at news://news.sff.net/sff.people.vera-nazarian -- feel free to join in on the lively discussions.

* The term "nattering and gromishing" refers to the fake background conversation in television and films. Actors (extras, of course) go around saying "Natter-natter, gromish-gromish" repeatedly in the background. Apparently the mouth movements when one is uttering such nonsense makes it appear as if actual words are being spoken. But it's only silly, meaningless drivel. I thought it an appropriate title for my new section. <cough>

**Lest you think that Vera and I are HTML thieves, the following was embedded in the script:

Author:Brandon Checketts
Homepage: http://www.apeleon.net/~microbit/brandon.html
Email: Brandon@microbits.com
Permission to use this script is given as long as this header stays with the script.

Unfortunately, the above URL is dead, but I've hyperlinked it to Brandon's newer site (thanks to a search using Metacrawler). See how thoughtful I am? Does this sound like the workings of a thief?
