Once upon a time, I knew nothing about creating my own graphics. The extent of my graphics knowledge ran to Paint (formerly Paintbrush under Windows 3.x -- yeah, that long ago). Now that I've learned Photoshop, I've since realized the error of my ways: ugly pale yellow haloes surrounding text (aka "artifacts"), non-antialiased text, etc. Yes, I've come a long way and I've still farther to go.

I've borrowed, quite frequently, animated GIFs and some nifty border backgrounds -- hence this page. You will find free graphics aplenty at the following websites. All they ask is that you link to them. A nice price, I'd say.
