Wow,
an "Update" section (I hope I can keep up with myself;^)
4/17/00:
Well, firstly -- I've moved my "Links" section to its
very own widdle page...you can find it here. Honestly, I kept adding links
to other homepages at a frenetic pace -- so much so that they
demanded their own page. So, in the interest of space-saving economy
(and clutter-elimination), I dressed the page in its finest HTML,
patted it on the head and gave it a good shove into cyberspace.
Now there's no limit to how many links I can add...MUAHHAAAAHHHAAA!
Keep checking, you might just see your own URL on that page (I'm
such a pack-rat...).
Also, I updated the
page devoted to my old BMW (the one I traded in for my Jeepie-weepie,
that is). I still have a bit of a soft-spot for the old girl (who's
still living in San Diego, thankfully). Anyway, check out the
"new and improved" page here.
6/27/00: I
have a journal! Yes --
there's actually something in it! Woo-hoo!!!
7/9/00:
Yes, just had to fiddle with my homepage AGAIN. Here
it is. We'll see how long this one lasts. Heh.
9/28/00: And
still fiddling. Created a new background*
and buttons in Photoshop, along with new header banners for each
page. You will notice that the background is now about 2k in size
(quite a change from the previous 71k JPEG background). Silly
me for creating bloated JPEG files in Paint. Tsk, tsk. Will there
be an end to this obsessive tinkering?...Naw... Oh, and did I
mention how much I love Dreamweaver 3? And Photoshop?*Feel
free to steal it -- not that it's any
great shakes.
1/14/01: I've
finally moved this site to its own domain: annehutchins.com.
It's been a long time coming...a really long time. I'd
pretty much HAD IT with @Home's lousy, flaky Webspace server (and
their email server sucks, too). This domain is hosted by Dreamhost.com
-- so far, so good. They also host my Web design site, annehutchinswebdesign.com.
2/13/01: Once again I felt the
need to completely change the look of my mainpage. I mostly wanted
to shrink the pages down to eliminate alot of scrolling. Also,
I'm using CSS ("custom class" in particular) in order
to control the size of the text fonts. The text on this page is
12 pixels instead of 12 points -- this way it will
look the same size on both PC and Mac (in fact, the text looks
a little larger on the Mac -- usually it's the other way around).
I'll be soooo glad when I have a Mac of my own, though. Anyway,
I'm striving for some sort of consistency between the two platforms,
and both IE and Netscape. Sigh.
